MAISON FAUVE • Transat Dress Sewing Pattern • NEW
Maison Fauve Transat Dress Sewing Pattern. Designed by Maison Fauve, the Transat Dress sewing pattern is the perfect summer piece for lounging by the water. Easy and quick to sew, it does not lack charm.
The bust is constructed with a nice pleat on the shoulders, the neckline is embellished by a front and back V neck (bra friendly!) and it has a nice slit in the middle front that brings sophistication to the piece. The Transat is very comfortable to wear with its smooth line and belted waistband.
Skill level • suitable for beginners. The technical points are the shoulder pleats, the neckline and the front slit.
This is a multi-size paper sewing pattern in an envelope, including sizes 34 to 52. The seam allowances are included and are 1cm.
Suggested fabrics • light to medium weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired look. A viscose, a soft jacquard, a tencel, a cotton, a crepe, a poplin, a satin, or a twill. A fluid fabric will give a supple fall, a fabric with a little hold will bring more puffiness.
Fabric requirements (140cm - 150cm fabric width) • 34 - 40 1.8M / 42 - 46 2.2M / 48 - 52 2.4M / 50 -52 2.5M
Trims needed • matching thread / fusible interfacing / 2 snaps
