NANI IRO • Microcosmos Quilted Cotton Sateen Fabric • Black

Quilted version of the beautiful Microcosmos design by Nani Iro in Black.From the 2023 Nani Iro Collection, this delicate deconstructed and re-constructed painterly design, Microcosmos, is printed in tones of brown, golden beige and cream a black and almost black base.

The sateen fabric creates a lovely subtle sheen to the overall effect. Please note however that this fabric was tricky to photograph because of the sheen, it doesn't look as shiny as in the photos. I've added an image of the fabric un-quilted to show how the fabric looks in reality.

The striped quilting is 25mm wide with a cotton ecru backing. This beautiful fabric is perfect for jackets such as the one featured in Issue 7 of TAUKO Magazine (see last image) which was made in previous season's Nani Iro fabric, Hovea and the ZW Bell Jacket, coats including the Nova and Lab Coat, along with the cape featured in Issue 1 of TAUKO Magazine.

100% Cotton Sateen • 106cm wide ∙ weight 220gms/m2

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
