This 100% organic cotton sewing thread from Scanfil comes on heavy wooden spools. Made from organically grown long staple cotton, this thread is silky and strong.   

This particular shade, Almost Black, is such a useful "non-colour" staple to have in your thread collection. The second photo shows this colourway, on the right, next to our standard Black thread.

An all-purpose weight, this thread is great for dressmaking, as well as quilting both by machine and hand.

These wooden spools hold 275 metres which means that these organic threads are not only environmentally friendly but they're also good value for money too when compared to larger brands.
