This beautiful "hand-crafted" fabric has been spun, woven and printed entirely by hand using natural dyes, which are Azo free, and don't contain any harmful chemicals.
With a crisp texture and a lovely drape, it's ideal for dressmaking, lightweight curtains and small home furnishings. As the fabric is handwoven, it's naturally more breathable because it has a slightly wider weave.
These fabrics are sourced from co-operatives in the Gujarat region of India, which is on the western coast, bordering Pakistan. These co-operatives are certified fair trade and their programme helps to support rural artisans and keeps these traditional handmade skills alive.
100% Handwoven Cotton • 115cm wide (The size of the printed motif is 15mm in length)
We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
As this fabric has been made using natural dyes we also recommend and that you line dry in the shade, prolonged exposure to the sun may cause fading.
