Taking inspiration from the classic fishermen’s top, Merchant and Mills have created a style that is more than a jumper, but less than a jacket. This top features raglan sleeves, both centre front and back seams, together with pockets which are cleverly set into a horizontal seam.

Skill level • Suitable for beginners
This is a multi-size paper pattern, including sizes 8 – 18. Seam allowances are included in the pattern at 1.5cm, unless otherwise stated.
Suggested fabric • choose a fabric with body to hold the shape, ideally a medium to heavier weight fabric such as Robert Kaufman's Essex Linens, denim, canvas, heavyweight cotton, and oilskin.
