NANI IRO • Drawing Colours Tencel Fabric • Dark Cream

- +

New for 2019 this painterly range of fabrics called Drawing Colours is inspired by the artist Marc Rothko. Layers of neutral colour, with a highlight of brushstrokes in Metallic Opal, have been built up to create this subtle Dark Cream colourway which has been printed on a soft tencel fabric base.

A thought for Rothko –
The dawn of that day, fog over the mountain range
The mind grows clearer
The existence of particles is incredibly beautiful - Naomi Ito

I'm thrilled that Nani Iro have used Tencel within their latest collection, this fabric is made from wood pulp that’s harvested from tree farms that are sustainably managed and traceable. The fibre production itself is more eco-friendly than cotton production due to its’ closed-loop process. This means that up to 99% of the water and solvents used are recycled and reused.

100% Rexcel Tencel • 106cm wide

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
