Komorebi is one of my favourite designs by Naomi Ito, the designer behind Nani Iro for Kokka. This large scale floral design has a beautiful painterly quality to it and the scale and placement give it a very modern look.

This particular colourway, called Springs, is just perfect for summer. Subtle tones of aqua blue are layered over a fresh white base, with the addition of a soft pink and highlights of apple green, popped with a neon coral.

"Komorebi - the sunshine that shines through the leaves - is like rainbow-color wind, or a fragrant breeze. It brings forth nice feelings which reminds us of those days we all surely miss. Lights dance, and flowers start to sing with delight. This textile brings out such a calm and quiet happiness " - Naomi Ito

Made of 100% cotton, this tactile double gauze fabric which is made from two layers of fine fabric held together at intervals, by a grid of stitches so tiny that they're barely invisible on the underside, has a beautifully soft and lightweight feel to it.

100% Cotton • 106cm wide

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
