NANI IRO • New Morning Quilted Organic Cotton Double Gauze Fabric • Teal
Quilted version of Nani Iro's popular floral design called New Morning. Printed in pretty tones of apricot, poppy red, turquoise, purple and winter white on a soft teal base.

In 100% cotton, this tactile organic cotton double gauze fabric, made from two layers of fine fabric held together at intervals, with a grid of stitches so tiny that they're almost invisible, has a beautifully soft and lightweight feel to it.
The striped quilting is 25mm wide with a soft cotton ecru backing. This beautiful fabric is perfect for jackets such as the one featured in Issue 7 of TAUKO Magazine (see last image) which was made using previous season's Nani Iro fabric, the Hovea and the ZW Bell Jacket, coats including the Lab Coat, along with the cape featured in Issue 1 of TAUKO Magazine. It would also work well for a winter top. I've included a photo of the fabric un-quilted to show the design.

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
