Crossweaves are made from yarns that have been dyed before weaving. One shade has been used for the weft and a different shade for the warp, making a tonal effect. If you pull the threads on the edge of the fabric, you can see the two shades of yarn that have been carefully chosen to create this lovely shade.
This fabric is hand made on small power-looms so it may have small variations in the weave which add to its charm.
A medium weight fabric suitable for both clothing or furnishings. We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project in case of any minor shrinkage.
100% certified organic cotton. 120cm wide.
Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.
