This beautiful textured irregular square voile fabric by Kokka has been made using the Japanese technique of 'salt shrinking'. This ancient process, Enshuku, creates textured or puckered fabrics by soaking them in a neutral PH solution to reduce the fibres to the desired density. To give you a sense of scale the textured squar50es are approximately 50mm wide.

Semi-sheer this voile fabric is lovely and lightweight, it's suitable for sewing tops, blouses and also dresses if either underlined or worn with a separate garment layered underneath.

Our Scanfil Organic Cotton Thread in Cream is a good match for this colourway and is available in both 100M and 275M spools.

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.

100% Cotton • 110cm wide ∙ 240gms/m

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project. Do not tumble dry.
