MERCHANT AND MILLS • European Laundered Linen • Scuttle Black
Merchant and Mills European Laundered Linen Fabric. This dark charcoal, almost black European Laundered Linen, called Scuttle Black, is from Merchant and Mills' core fabric range.. It's been enzyme washed to give a beautifully soft, distressed finish and this linen will continue to soften and distress over time.
A lovely weight and drape which makes this fabric ideal for sewing most garments; for example it's ideal for all the garments in Workbook along with most of the Merchant and Mills sewing patterns, the Camber, Fielder and new Gyo spring to mind; as well as home furnishing projects.
Our Almost Black Organic Cotton Thread is a really good match for this colour.
100% Linen • 143cm wide • 185gms
Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.
Merchant and Mills recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 or 40 degrees linen cycle with a mild detergent before you start your sewing project. And the really good news... it's been designed not to be ironed!
