The Assembly Line Drop Waist Dress and Top Sewing Pattern. Designed by The Assembly Line, the Drop Waist Dress & Top sewing pattern offers a beautifully simple, modern silhouette with subtle details. The pattern includes three sleeveless styles: a top, a shorter dress, and a longer dress. All versions feature soft gathers at the front neckline and a keyhole opening at the back, fastened with a delicate ribbon tie.

You can easily extend the top to your desired length and add bias binding or a statement ruffle at the hem (described as a hack in the assembly instruction).

This is a multi-size paper sewing pattern available in two sizes, this pattern includes sizes XL to 3XL, click here for sizes XS to L. The sewing pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions including variations of the techniques required to complete your project.

110 – 120 cm fabric width • XS 2.3M / S 2.3M / M 2.4M / L 2.4M

140 – 150 cm fabric width • XS - L 2.0M

TOP:

110 – 120 cm fabric width • XS 1.1M / S - L 1.4M

140 – 150 cm fabric width • XS 0.9M / S - L 1.0M

Trims needed • matching thread / fusible interfacing / Optional: buy pre-made bias binding (the fabric allowance includes bis binding from dress fabric). The recommended width of ready-made bias binding is 1.5-2cm. Neckline = 120 cm, Armhole = 100 cm - 140 cm depending on size, Waist = 102 cm - 160 cm depending on size.
