The Champagne Field Dress and Top sewing pattern by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club is a prairie style dress with patch pockets and optional patchwork view with inseam pockets. The front and back bodice include soft gathers that sit above the bust. View A is a mini dress, hitting above the knee and includes a flutter sleeve. View B is a midi dress, hitting mid calf with a high-low hem and gathered puff sleeves finished with a wide elastic cuff. Both views include a large bottom ruffle. View C is a babydoll style blouse which include soft gathers that sit above the bust and has a flowing bell sleeve. The length is semi cropped that hits right below the natural waist.

The Champagne Field sewing pattern includes a bonus sleeve view which is a modern style ruffle that is easy to construct and interchangeable between views. It also includes pattern pieces and instructions for a square neck hack.

This sewing pattern includes sizes XXS - 6XL (Bust 31” - 64” / 79cm - 162cm).

Skill level • Suitable for advanced beginners, techniques include neck and arm bias binding, gathering, baby hem and inset sleeve.

Suggested fabrics • This style works beautifully in a woven fabric, light to medium weight fabrics are best including linen, cotton, double gauze, lawn.

Fabric requirements • Please see last image for fabric requirements. Matchy Matchy recommend using a fabric that is at least 140cm wide, if using a narrower fabric yu may need to piece together the skirt and ruffle pieces. Not cutting on the fold will reduce the amount of fabric required.

Trims needed • matching thread / fusible interfacing / 20mm elastic
