Merchant and Mills Rhubarb and Custard Gingham Cotton Linen Fabric. Part of the Luminaire Collection by Merchant and Mills, Rhubarb and Custard is a beautiful gingham fabric made from a soft cotton and linen blend in a raspberry pink and yellow ochre. A versatile cloth that is a great alternative to linen. This cotton linen blend is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before being woven. To give you a sense of scale the squares are approximately 12mm.

It's a lovely summer weight cloth suitable for sewing dresses, tops, shirts and skirts. It would make a fabulous Martha Dress and a beautiful Edie Dress or Top.

70% BCI Cotton / 30% Linen • 148cm wide • 124gms • made in Turkey

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.

Merchant and Mills recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees linen cycle with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry. Shake out and dry flat. Linen will always seize up after washing but as soon as you start to use/wear it the fibres relax again.

Never dry linen in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade. Made using AZO-free dyes. Oeko-Tex certified.
