Merchant and Mills The Dress Shirt Sewing Pattern. Designed by Merchant and Mills, the Dress Shirt sewing pattern is a lightweight, versatile dress inspired by the detailing of the Grandad style shirt. It’s a relaxed style, with a classic cut, designed to be worn loose, for a comfortable stylish look.

There are two variations to choose from, one with a rolled up sleeve or a short sleeve.

We've made ours in Robert Kaufman's Yarn Dyed Essex Linen in Black. This pattern is fairly straightforward to make and therefore suitable for beginners, why not check out our pattern review on our blog.
