The Dress Shirt sewing pattern from Merchant and Mills is a lightweight, versatile dress inspired by the detailing of the Grandad style shirt. It’s a relaxed style, with a classic cut, designed to be worn loose, for a comfortable stylish look.
There are two variations to choose from, one with a rolled up sleeve or a short sleeve.
We've made ours in Robert Kaufman's Yarn Dyed Essex Linen in Black. This pattern is fairly straightforward to make and therefore suitable for beginners, why not check out our pattern review on our blog.

This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, available in two sizes including UK 8 – 18 and UK 20 - 28.
Suggested fabrics ∙ light to medium weight woven fabrics including linen, linen blends, tencel, denim, chambray and needlecord.
