Merchant and Mills The Scout Shirt and Dress Sewing Pattern. Designed by Merchant and Mills, the Scout was inspired by 1920's women's scouting uniforms. Make as a neat shirt or dress with optional tie. The dress has in-seam pockets.

Skill level ∙ Intermediate

This is a multi-size paper sewing pattern in an envelope including UK 6 – 18. The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions to complete your project. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

Suggested fabrics ∙ Merchant and Mills recommend linen, lightweight denim, cotton chambray, poplin, linen/cotton blends. If you choose something with less drape the top will have a more sculptural look.

Trims needed • matching thread / 6 x 11-15mm buttons / 0.5m fusible interfacing / 0.8m fusible interfacing for the tie (cut on the bias)
