Blunt Chambray from Mind the MAKER is a premium medium-weight chambray fabric with a softly structured drape and a touch of stretch for added comfort. Woven in a classic plain weave with a subtle, refined texture, this high-quality chambray is perfect for sewing crisp shirts, stylish shirt dresses, light trousers, and breathable summer skirts.
Supplied in its raw, unwashed state, this fabric will soften beautifully and develop a slightly deeper, richer colour after the first wash—enhancing both its drape and wearability. Ideal for modern dressmakers looking for comfort, structure, and designer-quality fabrics.
Mind The MAKER are based in Denmark and they design with the maker in mind. All of their fabrics are Oeko Tex Certified and some, including this one, are organic.
Please note that the indigo dyed raw denims will loose some colour when washed.
Wash and care ∙ Mind the MAKER recommend to wash the fabric before use. Wash separately first time due to excess dye.
Wash by 30-40 dg with low spinning (800 rpm).
Take the fabric/garment out of the machine immediately and dry flat without creases.
Tumble dryer is not recommended.
