Saaaa Saaa Organic Cotton Double Gauze Fabric by Nani Iro is a beautiful hand-drawn stripe design by Japanese textile artist Naomi Ito. Originally introduced in Nani Iro's very first collection and revisited for 2024, this expressive design celebrates the simplicity of hand-painted marks. In this striking colourway, mid-brown stripes are layered over a deep black background, creating a bold, graphic contrast while the visible brushstrokes bring softness and movement to the design.
Printed on beautifully soft organic cotton double gauze, Saaaa Saaa combines Nani Iro's distinctive artistic approach with the lightweight, breathable comfort of this gently textured fabric. Made from two fine layers of cotton held together by tiny, almost invisible stitches, it has a relaxed drape that works particularly well for contemporary tops, blouses and easy-fitting dresses, allowing the expressive stripes to take centre stage.
