The Lauren Dress & Blouse has an elegant pleated shoulder shoulder detail, but without being too exaggerated, a structured square neckline that can be highlighted with a contrasting neckline band together with a long buttoned cuff for a retro touch.

With the option of a slightly flared blouse, or a trapeze dress above the knee, its refined profile is the perfect vehicle for strong prints, colour blocking, or a luxurious fabric ... versatile but downright chic!

Skill level ∙ intermediate if you sew the version without the neckline band and with a simplified cuff. Advanced for the version with the neckline band (inlay assembly) and cuffs with slits and a buttoned cuff.

This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes 34 to 52. The seam allowances are included and are 1cm.

Suggested fabrics ∙ lightwight woven fabrics (80 to 150g / m2) which drape well including viscose, cotton, tencel, linen, silk and for the blouse version a pretty openwork fabric as well.
