Robin Chambray from Mind the MAKER is a premium, medium-weight chambray fabric featuring refined yarn-dyed stripes. With its soft texture, breathable feel and beautifully structured drape, it’s perfect for sewing crisp shirts, shirt dresses, light trousers and airy skirts.
Woven from high-quality fibres in a classic plain weave, this striped chambray offers the ideal balance of comfort and structure, making it a versatile choice for both everyday wear and polished handmade garments.
This fabric is supplied raw and unwashed, so we recommend prewashing before cutting. After the first wash, the colour deepens slightly, and the fabric softens, enhancing the drape and overall wearability.

Mind The MAKER are based in Denmark and they design with the maker in mind. All of their fabrics are Oeko Tex Certified and some, including this one, are organic.
Please note that the indigo dyed raw denims will loose some colour when washed.
Wash and care ∙ Mind the MAKER recommend to wash the fabric before use. Wash separately first time due to excess dye.
Wash by 30-40 dg with low spinning (800 rpm).
Take the fabric/garment out of the machine immediately and dry flat without creases.
Tumble dryer is not recommended.
