Named Clothing Aulio Elastic Waist Shorts and Trousers Sewing Pattern. Designed in Finland by Named Clothing, the Aulio sewing pattern includes two simple options: casual shorts and classic wide-leg trousers. Both variations have a high elasticated waist with a cord casing. These timeless garments are quick and easy to sew, but comfy to wear for years to come! They are suitable for beginners as a first trouser pattern.

This is a multi-size paper sewing pattern available in sizes XS to XXL. The sewing pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions required to complete your project. The seam allowance is included in this pattern and none of the pattern pieces overlap.
Suitable fabrics • For both options choose a light to medium weight fabric, preferably drapey or with a slight drape. God options include Viscose, cotton lawn, tencel and washed linen.
Fabric requirements • please see last image for fabric requirements. Please note the fabric requirements include a 5% shrinkage allowance.
Trims needed • matching thread / 30cm fusible knit interfacing / 20mm elastic, the width of your waist / cord for drawstring, your waist measurement + 80cm
