Nani Iro Microcosmos is a new floral design for 2023. Inspired by nature, like so many of Naomi Ito's designs, I love that this beautiful botanical design has been seemingly cut into squares and put back together at random.
"One day, I picked up some flowers blooming in the garden and wanted to record the garden today.
I copied the shadows of the fresh flowers onto a blueprint and arranged many of them to create a textile.

In 100% Cotton, a fine plain weave fabric made from combed cotton thread. This lightweight fabric has a lovely subtle sheen and is perfect for sewing tops, blouses, shirts and lined dresses and skirts.
100% Cotton Sateen • 112cm wide ∙ 105gms/m
Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.
We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project.
