Pixel Watercolour by Merchant & Mills is a striking large-scale check fabric featuring a beautifully balanced palette of peachy pinks, soft blues, light greens, yellow and flashes of bright orange. Fresh, playful and full of character, this design feels both modern and timeless.
Made from lightweight Indian organic cotton, this fabric is soft and delicate, making it ideal for summer sewing projects. It’s perfect for floaty tops, dresses with gentle fullness and airy scarves. It also works wonderfully for patchwork and light home décor projects such as semi-sheer curtains.
Pixel Watercolour is a particularly lovely choice for relaxed makes like the Etta Dress or Winnie Pyjamas, where its softness and breathable quality really shine.
Lightweight, this 100% organic cotton features an 8 x 8cm check and a 66cm pattern repeat. Yarn-dyed and produced in India, it has the natural charm and character you’d expect from beautifully crafted cotton cloth.
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project. Ironing will not loose the surface seersucker texture.
