Hana No Tori Nika Linen Fabric by Nani Iro is a beautiful new 2026 design by renowned Japanese textile artist Naomi Ito. This mid-scale, hand-painterly floral has a delicate scattered quality, reminiscent of falling water droplets, soft, fluid and expressive. At The Draper’s Daughter we specialise in thoughtfully sourced dressmaking fabrics, including beautiful Japanese textiles like this design by Nani Iro.
This statement colourway features striking tones of soft orange, soft maroon, muted red and yellow, accented with subtle metallic gold highlights over a deep chocolate brown base. The result is a design full of depth, movement and gentle contrast, ideal for garments where print and drape can truly shine. To give you a sense of scale the largest floral heads measure approximately 95mm in diameter, with a 62cm pattern repeat, creating a strong visually impactful design.
