Pal Organic Cotton Double Gauze Fabric by Nani Iro is a striking abstract floral design from the 2024 collection by renowned Japanese textile artist Naomi Ito. Expressive, hand-painted shapes in tones of air force blue, ochre, light grey and soft pink are lifted by touches of yellow against a deep, almost-black background, creating a beautifully balanced composition with depth and movement.
Printed on wonderfully soft organic cotton double gauze, this contemporary design combines Nani Iro's distinctive painterly aesthetic with the lightweight, breathable comfort of double gauze. The fabric is made from two fine layers of cotton held together by tiny, almost invisible stitches, giving it a gently textured surface and relaxed drape. With a vertical pattern repeat of approximately 61cm, Pal is particularly lovely for simple tops, blouses and dresses that allow the expressive print to take centre stage.
