MERCHANT AND MILLS • The Denham Jacket Sewing Pattern

£16.00
- +

The Denham  Sewing Pattern by Merchant and Mills is inspired by a vintage Austrian hiking jacket. This neat mid-season piece is perfect for all weathers. A double breasted jacket that can be lined or unlined. It features two flap pockets and a button tab to close the collar.

Denham is more closely fitting than a lot of their other patterns, do carefully check the finished measurements table, and if in doubt size up.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

This is a multi-size paper sewing pattern including sizes 6 – 18. The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions required to complete your project.

Skill level • Intermediate

Suggested fabrics • dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 8 -12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured jacket.

For linings Merchant and Mills suggest their barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise - cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
