Dhurata Davies Maxine Dress Sewing Pattern. Maxine is a stylish and versatile loose fitting shift dress. This sewing pattern was designed by Dhurata Davies to work well with a wide variety of light to medium weight woven fabrics, as well as medium to heavy weight stable knit fabrics, making it a perfect layering garment for all seasons.

It features criss-cross front panel detailing with generous secret in-seam pockets, drop shoulders, short sleeves, two neckband variations for knit fabric (A and B) and a facing for woven (C). You can use ribbing for the neckband as well, whatever fabric you choose for the body.

The navy dress is sewn up in the Merchant and Mills Laundered Linen in the Goodnight colourway and Dhurata has beautifully hand-stitched along either side of the criss-cross panels in a contrasting thread.

This is a multi-size paper, including UK sizes 6 – 20. The sewing pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions to complete your project.
