KOKKA • Linear Seersucker Cotton Fabric • Mushroom
This beautiful textured linear seersucker voile fabric by Kokka has been made using the Japanese technique of 'salt shrinking'. This ancient process, Enshuku, creates textured or puckered fabrics by soaking them in a neutral PH solution to reduce the fibres to the desired density. To give you a sense of scale the textured squares are approximately 50mm wide.
With a lustrous sheen, temi-sheer, this voile fabric is lovely and lightweight, it's suitable for sewing tops, blouses and also dresses if either underlined or worn with a separate garment layered underneath.
Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.
100% Cotton • 115cm wide ∙ 98gms/m
We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project. Do not tumble dry.
