This beautiful textured linear seersucker voile fabric by Kokka has been made using the Japanese technique of 'salt shrinking'. This ancient process, Enshuku, creates textured or puckered fabrics by soaking them in a neutral PH solution to reduce the fibres to the desired density. To give you a sense of scale the textured squares are approximately 50mm wide.

Semi-sheer, this voile fabric is lovely and lightweight, it's suitable for sewing tops, blouses and also dresses if either underlined or worn with a separate garment layered underneath.

Our Scanfil Organic Cotton Thread in Black is a good match for this colourway.

We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project. Do not tumble dry.
