Part of the Luminaire Collection by Merchant and Mills, Acrobat is a beautiful bold check fabric made from a soft cotton and linen blend in tomato red, soft yellow and cobalt blue. A versatile cloth that is a great alternative to linen. This cotton linen blend is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before being woven. To give you a sense of scale the check pattern repeat is approximately 61cm.
It's a lovely summer weight cloth suitable for sewing dresses, tops, shirts and skirts. It would make a fabulous Honey Dress and a beautiful Edie Dress or Top.

Merchant and Mills recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees linen cycle with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry. Shake out and dry flat. Linen will always seize up after washing but as soon as you start to use/wear it the fibres relax again.
Never dry linen in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade. Made using AZO-free dyes. Oeko-Tex certified.
