Merchant and Mills Eyelet Indian Cotton Fabric. Burrow is a dark aubergine colour, this beautiful broderie anglaise has a vertical repeating design every 14cm. Broderie anglaise is a whitework needlework technique incorporating features of embroidery, cutwork and needle lace. The picture of the navy eyelet shows how the pattern is repeated.
Because of the holes you may want to wear something underneath or line it, with this in mind we've added a Black Voile, also by Merchant and Mills, to our online store.
Lightweight, this fabric lends itself well to sewing tops, loose skirts and dresses. Many of the Merchant and Mills sewing patterns would be suitable including the Hattie & Ellis Dress(shown below made in Ecru), the Etta Dress, the Celeste Top and the Clover Dress & Top to name a few.
As the Merchant and Mills Indian cloths are handmade, they're sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.
We recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 degrees before you start your sewing project. Ironing will not loose the surface seersucker texture.
