Lei Nani Cotton Double Gauze Fabric by Nani Iro is a beautiful contemporary interpretation of a ditsy floral by renowned Japanese textile artist Naomi Ito. Delicate clusters of tiny cream flowers, each with a pinpoint orange centre, are scattered across a rich petrol blue background. Subtle highlights of metallic opal catch the light on selected blooms, bringing gentle movement and an unexpected detail to this charming design.
Printed on beautifully soft cotton double gauze, Lei Nani combines Naomi Ito's signature hand-painted watercolour style with the lightweight, breathable comfort of this gently textured fabric. Inspired by the Hawaiian tradition of floral garlands, the delicate scale of the print and rich blue background create a refined, versatile design, particularly lovely for relaxed blouses, simple tops and dresses with an easy, fluid drape.
