Puff and Pencil Zip Vest & Basic Sleeves Sewing Pattern. Designed by Puff and Pencil, the Topstitch Vest and Box Sleeve sewing pattern is a slightly fitted jacket with space for a sweater underneath. It has a high collar and a zipper in the front. It does not have a lining. The instructions also describe how to make the Zip Vest without sleeves.

The BASIC sleeve is a casual everyday sleeve with a straight shape.

You can mix and match with other sleeves by purchasing additional digital sleeve patterns.

Skill level • Intermediate.

This is a paper sewing pattern which includes sizes XXS (to fit bust 76cm) to XXL (to fit bust 122cm). Seam allowances are included in the pattern. The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions including variations of the techniques required to complete your project.

Suggested fabrics • this sewing pattern is made for woven fabrics. Avoid fabrics with a soft drape, and choose a fabric with a bit of structure. If you are in doubt about which fabric to choose, then fabrics such as denim and canvas both works well for this jacket, as well as poplin for a softer indoor look.
