The Poncho Shirt Sewing Pattern by The Assembly Line blends the tailored look of a classic shirt with the comfort and ease of a poncho-style silhouette. Designed as a half-circle shape, this shirt drapes beautifully and offers a modern, relaxed fit.
Key features include a traditional button-down front, classic shirt collar, and clever construction with seams at the shoulders and underarms to shape the garment. Perfect for lightweight to mid-weight fabrics, this is a versatile piece that works well dressed up or down.
You can make it as a plain style or choose to customise it with a panel, or a frill for added flair. The checked version is pictured with the Culottes Sewing Pattern which have been lengthened by 15cm.

This is a paper pattern available in sizes S, L, and 3XL, fitting XS–3XL. Seam allowances are included in the pattern. The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions including variations of the techniques required to complete your project.
